DJ TOPGEAR is an 80s child of English suburbia he began making music using a tape recorder and found sounds, run through freeware trackers such as Buzz. Inspired by esoteric electronica and teenage visits to London raves his sound has since matured from glitch ridden dsp beat workouts,through tongue n cheek UK Garage experiments (whilst living in London and Singapore), harsh experimental noise (following his first foray into analogue synthesisers during two years spent living in South Korea), up to the more recent abstract breakcore/experimental musical collages (developed over the last few years in Tokyo). He plays live sporadically and has occasionally collaborated over the last 15 years or more with various like-minded international oddballs.
